I decided to teach in Bahrain because: I wanted to get out of my comfort zone and explore a part of the world that I have never been to.

My biggest fear about moving abroad is: Missing friends and family.

This year, I am most excited about: Having new cultural experiences and eating great food.

5 must have items you packed in your suitcase
1.  Charge converters
2. Items that make me feel at home (pictures and my duvet cover)
3. Posters

Famous, must-eat delicacies from Bahrain: shawarma, hummus, tabouleh, dates

Most excited to explore: The Grand Mosque, The Souk

One word to sum up your first year teaching: Multitasking

Favourite Memory from First Year Teaching: Doing a flash mob dance that my students choreographed.

Professional Goal This Year: To maintain a work life balance and make sure that I'm not working harder than my students.
